ON24, INC. – MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT
At ON24, Inc. (ON24) we are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking and to ensure that our business and supply chains are free from the same.
2. ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
ON24 is the parent company of the ON24 group (the Group). We are a global leader in webcasting and virtual event solutions. We provide the platform, software and resources through which businesses are able to interact and engage with their clients and prospective clients on a global scale. We provide data-rich digital experiences through a range of mediums, including hosting live online events, developing personalised webinars, and creating reports, videos and blogs which can be accessed on-demand. Our technology captures audience interaction in real-time, analyses it and feeds it back to clients, enabling them to measure the impact of their campaigns and adapt their sales approach.
ON24 has headquarters in San Francisco in the United States. We have a wide international footprint serving the regions of North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, APAC and Japan. As well as having an office in North Carolina in the United States, we also have 4 subsidiaries worldwide:
ON24 Limited in London;
ON24 Pte Ltd in Singapore;
ON24 Australia Pty. Ltd. in Australia;
and ON24 Japan GK in Japan.
The Group employs approximately 650 people across the globe, with approximately 80 of those employed in the UK.
The Group had a global annual turnover of over $89 million in 2019.
We have a Board of Directors with Audit and Compensation Committees. The Audit Committee has primary responsibility for overseeing key processes including financial reporting and disclosure processes, auditing processes, and the businesses compliance with laws and regulations. The Compensation Committee has primary responsibility for reviewing and approving the compensation of the company’s CEO and other named executive officers. At the corporate level, we have a CEO, Sharat Sharan, an Executive Team, a Management Team and Individual Contributors.
3. OUR BUSINESS
ON24 is on a mission to transform the way businesses drive revenue and customer engagement through data-rich digital experiences. Powered by the ON24 platform, marketers create and deliver live, always-on and personalized webinar, content and virtual event experiences to engage audiences in real-time, to generate powerful buying signals and to accelerate pipeline. With billions of engagement minutes created, ON24 is the network where enterprises engage prospects and customers at global scale.
4. SUPPLY CHAINS AND RECRUITMENT
Our supply chains include a contractor in Sweden, and recruitment agencies that we use for supplementary services.
In order to mitigate risks relating to modern slavery and human trafficking, ON24 uses reputable recruitment agencies to identify and source candidates for employment opportunities with us. The recruitment agencies screen candidates as part of their process and we obtain copies of passports for all employees.
5. OUR POLICIES ON SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
We are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. To this end, and in order to encourage the reporting of illegal acts, ON24 operates a Whistleblowing Policy as set out in its UK Handbook. The policy states that, under certain circumstances, employees are protected from suffering any detriment or termination of employment if they report misconduct or wrongdoing, or suspected misconduct or wrongdoing.
In addition, we have implemented a Grievance Procedure that allows employees to raise a grievance or concern internally and escalate the same to the next level if the grievance is not resolved.
Our UK Handbook sets out what employees can expect with respect to our values and this provides a useful reference point.
6. DUE DILIGENCE PROCESSES FOR SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
We do not operate directly in environments where there is a high risk of human rights violations or of forced or compulsory labour. ON24 also recognises the potential within certain industries for seasonal workers to be victims of modern slavery, and our business does not rely on seasonal workers to manage peaks or periods of increased demand. This means that we are not under pressure to hire workers on a short-term basis on short notice, so we have the time to conduct proper checks and due diligence on employees.
We also have mechanisms in place to identify and assess potential risks in our supply chains. In order to encourage the reporting of illegal acts, we operate a whistleblowing and grievance policy, as outlined above.
If we have reason to suspect that a supplier is acting, or has acted, in an unethical way, we reserve the right to terminate its commercial relationship with that supplier.
7. FURTHER STEPS
Following a review of the effectiveness of the steps we have taken to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains, we intend to set up a dedicated email address for employees and stakeholders to contact us through to raise any concerns they might have, including modern slavery concerns.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2019. It was approved by the board on January 13, 2021, and the information contained in this Statement is accurate as of that date.
